Seller Center splits cleanly into six functional areas: catalog and listings, orders and fulfillment, marketing (affiliates + ads + live), finance and payouts, shop health and compliance, and analytics. Each one has its own rhythm and its own failure mode.
Dashboard & Health Score
The first screen after login shows your health score, recent violations, GMV trends, and outstanding tasks. Treat the health score widget as a daily check — anything below 90 needs immediate triage. The 'Tasks' panel surfaces TikTok-flagged action items that often unlock visibility lifts when completed.
Products & Listings Module
This is where listings live. Beyond bulk upload, look for the listing quality score on each SKU — it's a composite of images, video, copy, attributes, and policy compliance. Listings scoring above 80 receive measurable FYP boost. The 'Insights' tab on each product shows search impressions and creator pickup, both leading indicators for GMV.
Orders & Fulfillment
Orders flow through ship-by deadlines that affect your fulfillment performance score. Late shipments compound into seller-standing penalties. Use bulk label printing, integrate ShipStation or your 3PL via the open API, and consider Fulfilled by TikTok (FBT) for SKUs where it's offered.
Affiliate & Creator Center
The Affiliate Center hosts TAP, Targeted Collaboration, and Open Collaboration. Most brands only configure TAP. Running all three in parallel — with personalized outreach inside Targeted — typically lifts affiliate-attributed GMV 3–5x vs TAP-only.
Ads Manager (Spark Ads & GMV Max)
Spark Ads boost organic creator posts; GMV Max automates bidding across the catalog. Spark is the right starting point for shops with creator content already live; GMV Max is better for high-SKU shops with consistent creative supply. Both run inside Seller Center's Ads Manager.
Finance & Payouts
Payouts run on a region-specific cadence (typically weekly in the US, every 1–2 weeks in the UK after the dispute window). The Finance tab shows pending vs available balance, fee breakdowns, and tax documents. Reconcile against your accounting weekly — TikTok fees evolve and you want them in your contribution-margin math.
Compliance & Policy Center
The Policy Center surfaces active violations, appeals in flight, and category-specific rules. Check it weekly even when nothing is flagged — policy updates often land here days before enforcement. The IP Protection Portal and Restricted Products list are both linked from this module.
Different URLs (seller-us.tiktok.com vs seller-uk.tiktok.com), different policy stacks, different payout cadences, different creator pools, and different category rules. A US seller cannot operate the UK shop from a US Seller Center login — you need a separate UK entity, VAT registration, and Seller Center account.
